Spotify has introduced Spotify Offline Backup. This feature allows Premium users to continue listening to music even when they are offline.
Spotify Offline Backup is a playlist that combines your recently streamed songs and queued tracks. The app uses songs that are already cached in your device to allow you to listen without downloading them. You can sort and filter songs by genre, mood or artist. Offline Backup adapts to your preferences as you listen.
Offline Backup is perfect when you forget to save your favourite songs. You can listen to music offline without using up extra storage or data.
Spotify has launched Offline Backup for Spotify Premium users around the world after a successful test phase in which users gave positive feedback. This feature is available for both Android and iOS and includes compatibility with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Apple CarPlay.
Spotify Offline Backup
1. When you are offline, Offline Backup will appear automatically in your home feed.
2. You can activate this feature if you have listened to at least five songs in the last 30 days and enabled offline listening. This option can be found under Settings. Then, select Data Saving, Offline Storage or Storage and then toggle Offline Listening.
3. You can easily add Offline backup to Your Library.
4. Update your Spotify app if you cannot find Offline Backup.
